Bath & Body Works has officially discontinued its new “Pizza & Ranch” candle after customers made it very clear they were not emotionally prepared for their homes to smell like a sports bar.

According to People, the candle was quietly pulled just weeks after launch, thanks to an overwhelming number of gag reflexes and deeply negative reviews.

The Scent Description Was the First Red Flag

A TikTok video went viral last week showing a group of shoppers smelling the candle in-store and immediately regretting every choice that led them there. The reactions ranged from visible discomfort to full-body recoil.

Before being pulled, the candle’s price was slashed from $26 down to $8, which feels like a clearance cry for help. Even then, it couldn’t be saved.

At last check, it held a 1.5-star rating with more than 200 reviews, which is honestly impressive for something that smells like pizza.

It Was Part of a Whole Food-Scent Line

The Pizza & Ranch candle was part of a new Bath & Body Works collection called Perfect Pairings, which also includes:

• Popcorn & Slushie
• Chips & Salsa

Shoppers in the viral video confirmed that Chips & Salsa was also… not great.
