Charge Laid After Pedestrians Struck in Huntsville
Mother and son suffered minor injury following collision.
Minor injuries after a woman and her young son were hit by a vehicle in Huntsville. Around 8:30 this morning, police say a 29-year-old woman and her 4-year-old son were crossing Centre St. at Minerva when they were hit by a turning pickup truck and knocked to the ground. Both were taken to hospital, while the 36-year-old driver of the truck was charged with careless driving.
