New Path's Fourth Annual Pride BBQ and Community Celebration

In Simcoe County, New Path Youth and Family Services is the leading agency in delivering mental health services to youth and their families. Our youth, their families, and our staff are currently hard at work planning this year’s Fourth Annual Community BBQ and Pride Event.

For the past three years, we’ve hosted a community barbeque and celebration at the Dorian Parker Centre, Sunnidale Park, Barrie, ON. This year’s event is taking place from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, June 20th. We’re hoping that this community barbeque will provide and develop a nurturing environment inclined towards acknowledging and supporting the struggles that individuals of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community face daily, while also allowing everyone to celebrate their identities in a manner of inclusivity and belonging.

All the proceeds from the barbeque will go to The Gilbert Centre, which is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that provides services and programs that celebrate the lives of individuals in 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
