Poker Run For Polio

Welcome to the Rotary Poker Run for Polio! Join us for a fun-filled day driving to various pit stops where we’ll be raising funds to help eradicate polio. Come out and enjoy the beautiful fall scenery and support a crucial cause. Let’s do this together to make a difference for our “End Polio Now” annual campaign and have a whole lot of fun!

Kempenfelt Rotary is hosting our annual Polio event to support Rotary International in the eradication of Polio around the world.

Saturday October 18th, 2025

• 10am registrants will meet at the "starting line" at the Rotary Rock at 299 Lakeshore Drive Barrie, in vehicles of up to 4 people
• This is a Family friendly event so bring the gang along.
• You will drive to 6 exciting "pit stops" throughout Barrie and Area to collect a playing card to make the best poker hand. there will also be a fun activity to participate in at each Pit Stop ******* this is not a race !!! *******
• Thanks to our pit stop sponsor locations: Quayle’s Brewery, North Swing Golf Lounge, Dunlop Billiards, Pickleplex Social Club, HQ Restaurant and Tap House, Heritage Estate Winery & Cidery.
• Pizza lunch will be provided at Heritage Estate Winery & Cidery pit stop.
• 4:30-5:00pm registrants will cross the "finish line" at the Lions Hall on Blake Street Barrie
• There will be a BBQ dinner followed by live music by Warehouse - featuring some of our Rotarian musicians.
• We will have a silent auction table and 50/50 draw at the event

Tickets are $75.00 per person - children under 12 years $25.00 which includes:

• Pizza lunch
• BBQ dinner
• Live music
• Great prizes for the best poker hand
• Best team spirit
• And best team on social media
• As well as a donation to the Rotary International Polio campaign
