Less sleep leads to less self control! Leading to daydreaming and cyber loafing… or basically wasting time. So says a group of researchers who studied the effects of losing just one hour when we turn the clocks ahead. The 6 year study found, we are less productive at work, after losing at least 40 minutes of slumber…. equaling about 8.4 minutes of productivity per hour. That can add up, costing companies upwards 600-million dollars in lost productivity a year. That study also found that drivers get into more accidents the day after the spring time change, your risk of serious illness goes up and you are more likely to hurt yourself by just being clumsy.
