Mike Myers Returns to SNL as Elon Musk—And Throws Shade at Trump

Mike Myers made a legendary return to Saturday Night Live last night, and let’s just say—it was a moment.
Not only did the SNL alum revive his comedy magic, but he also trolled Trump, took a jab at Elon Musk, and made a very Canadian statement in the process.

Mike Myers as Musk? Oh Behave.
The cold open took on the biggest political drama of the week: the White House showdown between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump. The sketch featured SNL’s James Austin Johnson as Trump, Mikey Day as Zelenskyy, and Bowen Yang as VP JD Vance.
But then—Mike Myers appeared.
Wielding a chainsaw (a nod to Musk’s recent bizarre antics at a tech conference), Myers’ version of Elon crashed the scene with his signature wit.
“Donald, what are you doing in my office? You know I’m the president now, right?” he joked—before adding, “I’m kidding. I’m kidding. Maybe not?”
Cue the internet losing its mind. 🤯
Canada Gets a Shoutout 🇨🇦
But Myers wasn’t done making headlines. During the end-of-show goodbyes, the Ontario-born comedian rocked a T-shirt that read “Canada Is Not for Sale.”
A not-so-subtle clapback at Trump’s wild claim that he wants to make Canada the 51st state? Yeah, we think so.
From playing Musk to throwing shade at Trump to repping Canada on live TV, Myers delivered a comeback worthy of a standing ovation. 👏👏👏
