School Crossing Guards Raise More Questions Than Answers In Barrie

Barrie City Council has put discussion on school crossing guards on hold for a couple of weeks. It wants more information from staff on whether it would encourage more parents to allow their kids to school and whether it makes the streets safer for kids. Council also wants a breakdown of the costs involved and how involved the school boards might be. Council will resume the discussion in early December.
