Suspect Left DNA Behind Following Barrie Break In

Blood, Still Images Gathered As Evidence Following Storage Facility B&E

12-22 storage unit suspectA little evidence was left behind following a B&E to a Barrie storage yard. Police say someone got onto the Access Storage Facility on Anne St, sometime overnight December 4th to the 5th, and seemingly picked units at random to break into. Investigators say he cut padlocks off the units, with several chainsaws, a leaf blower and a dumbbell set stolen. Barrie Police claim the guy cut his way into the yard through a fence, but investigators were able to get some blood from the barb wire there, along with some surveillance images. The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • medium build

Wearing:

  • dark baseball hat
  • bandana/cloth concealing his face
  • Black jacket (possibly leather)
  • grey and white camoflage pants.
