TOUR DE T1D 2021

Get out on your bikes and escape covid lockdown!

On September 26th the Tour de T1D will raise money and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes.

This local cycling event started in 2018 after two local physicians were told their son, Lukas, was diagnosed with this life long disease.  The Youth Diabetic Clinic at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre soon became their main support, and this yearly event helps raise money in support of over 200 children with Type 1 Diabetes who are treated at the clinic annually.

Join us at the Heights of Horseshoe Ski and Country Club where you can choose to cycle 25, 55 or 100km of stunning Oro-Medonte roads in support of Type 1 Diabetes.

This fast growing local Barrie road cycling event in support of type 1 diabetes is the only one of its kind in Ontario.  You don’t cycle?  No problem.

Help us make this year’s ride a huge success and raise the most money yet for the Youth Diabetic Clinic.
