Heated Rivalry Fans Are Being Invited to Visit the Show’s Filming Locations

Published January 15, 2026

If Heated Rivalry has taken over your screen, your group chats, and possibly your personality, Canadian tourism boards are hoping it also inspires your next getaway.

As the hockey romance series continues to gain international attention, tourism organizations across Ontario are encouraging fans to visit the real-life locations where the show was filmed.

Destination Ontario recently shared a list of filming spots on social media, inviting fans to relive some of their favourite moments from the Heated Rivalry by seeing the locations in person.

Several of the featured locations are in Hamilton, including FirstOntario Concert Hall, which appears as the fictional Major League Hockey Awards venue. Dundurn Castle also makes the list, standing in for Moscow in the series. Popular Hamilton restaurants Ciao Bella and Le Tambour Tavern were used as filming locations as well.

The list also includes Joni Restaurant in Toronto, which appears in the show as a Las Vegas setting.

And yes, the cottage scenes everyone keeps talking about were filmed in Muskoka. Destination Ontario highlights the entire region as a must-visit for fans wanting to experience the show’s most pivotal moments.

Heated Rivalry follows the love story of rival hockey stars Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. The series is based on popular romance novels by Nova Scotia author Rachel Reid, and its fan base continues to grow well beyond Canada.
