Beth and Rip Are Back: New Yellowstone Spinoff on the Way!
Hold onto your cowboy hats, Yellowstone fans! Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are saddling up to reprise their iconic roles as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler in a brand-new spinoff, and the excitement is as wild as the Montana landscape.
The announcement, reported by Variety and Deadline, comes just days before the highly anticipated series finale of Yellowstone Season 5, airing Sunday, Dec. 15. But don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye—just a thrilling new chapter for the Yellowstone universe.
A Fresh Spin on the Dutton Saga
The spinoff will be helmed by Taylor Sheridan, the creative genius behind Yellowstone. According to Deadline, fans can expect more familiar faces from the original series to join Beth and Rip, though no official casting details have been revealed. While the spinoff continues the Yellowstone storyline, Variety reports that it will be categorized as a spinoff to ensure Paramount keeps the franchise within its streaming platform's “ecosystem.”
For those who’ve followed the drama since its 2018 debut, Yellowstone has captured audiences with its gripping tale of the Dutton family’s struggle to protect their ranch against constant threats. Beth’s sharp wit and Rip’s rugged loyalty have made them fan favourites, so this spinoff promises to deliver even more of the fiery chemistry we love.

Expanding the Dutton Universe
The Beth and Rip spinoff isn’t the only project brewing in the Yellowstone universe. Sheridan is also working on new seasons of the hit prequels 1923 (starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren) and 1883 (featuring Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill). Plus, there’s The Madison, a fresh spinoff led by none other than Michelle Pfeiffer.
With so much to look forward to, it’s clear that the Yellowstone world is far from riding off into the sunset. As fans count down to Dec. 15, the promise of Beth and Rip’s next adventure is more than enough to keep the excitement alive.
Stay tuned, cowboys and cowgirls—this is just the beginning!
