Cops Say Driver Actually Ran In Thornton Hit and Run
Hydro Pole Struck Early Saturday Morning
A Springwater man is in hot water after a hit and run in Thornton. Nottawasaga OPP got the call to Barrie and Robert Streets around 6:30 Saturday morning, after they say a pick up truck hit a hydro pole. Witnesses say the driver fled on foot, and after a quick search of the area, police put the cuffs on a 20-year-old man. He’s since been charged with Drunk and Dangerous Driving.
