Could There Be A “Cross Roads” Sequel?

“Crossroads” starring Britney Spears is returning to theatres in celebration of the release of her new memoir “The Woman in Me,” but is a sequel also coming?
Tamra Davis, who directed the 2002 film, expressed interest in returning to the story in an interview with EW.
According to the interview, Tamra is working with the original producer and they may also be talking to Britney Spears about it too!
The film is centred on Lucy, played by Spears, who goes on a cross-country trip with some of her childhood friends to reconnect with her mother, played by Kim Cattrall.
“The Woman in Me” is out Oct. 24.
