Mind to Muscle is excited to partner with the Barrie Minor Hockey Association (BMHA) in a fundraising challenge at the 10th Annual Mind to Muscle Cup, taking place on Tuesday, July 22nd, at 6 PM at the Allandale Recreational Centre.
This year, Mind to Muscle is teaming up with the BMHA, Purolator, Domino’s, and the OHL Barrie Colts to support the Barrie Food Bank in tackling hunger in our community. Given the increasing demand—a 95% rise in food bank usage over the past year, with over 7,000 individuals relying on it each month—we want to rally the hockey community to make a real impact.
BMHA Teams will take part in a friendly competition to see which team can donate the most food by weight to the Barrie Food Bank.
Event Highlights:
Elite Hockey Game – Watch top-level talent from the NHL, PRO, OHL, NCAA, and CIS.
FREE Admission – Open to all players, families, and supporters!
Free Popcorn & Domino’s Pizza – Available to those who bring a food donation (while supplies last!).
Charlie Horse Appearance – Meet the Barrie Colts’ beloved mascot!
Purolator’s Tackle Hunger Team – On-site collecting non-perishable food & monetary donations.
