Lego!
Library staff host drop in building sessions for Lego lovers to meet, share ideas and have some fun together. Lego will be supplied by the library. (Donations of Lego from the public are welcome). Parents are reminded that they must remain in the library if their child is under 10 years of age. Children ages 6 years and up are welcome. Space may be limited to the first 30 children.

Author Shane Peacock
We are thrilled to welcome author Shane Peacock to our library. Shane is the author of the critically-acclaimed, bestselling The Boy Sherlock Holmes series as well as Last Message and Double You in the groundbreaking Seven, the Series project and the sequel series, and the Dylan Maples Adventures. He is also a playwright, documentary screenwriter, and journalist. This visit will be of interest to children ages 9 years and up, teens and adults.

Library Pan Am Games!
We’re celebrating Canada’s athletes this summer at the Library! Join us to test out your own athletic abilities with some silly, sporty fun on the library lawn! In case of bad weather the program will take place in the Angus Ross Room downtown, and the Massie Family Program Room at Painswick.
