This crazy hot summer is leading to wildfires that are still burning to the north of us and still in parts of B.C. and it could keep pasta out of your bowl!
A couple of French pasta makers say that the hot weather has been so bad that it has greatly lowered the amount of durum wheat produced which could, in turn, cause a pasta shortage.
It’s so bad that production is down 30%. So what does this mean? The cost of the wheat will go up and so will the price at the store…
