How to raise a kid on $10 a day!

What? Don’t think so? It seems possible if you buy into a report from the Fraser Institute. But perhaps you’d disagree. I’m thinking about that commercial on TV where the mother ends up making her sons clothing. Aside from the outfits being pretty funky, I don’t think too many kids would be cool with the idea. With all the ‘designer’ stuff that you need to be outfitted in just to “fit in” these days, not to mention the cost of sports, hobbies and the bottomless pit that a growing teens appetite can be, I’m wondering where the folks from the Institute do their shopping! Let me ask you, parents, how much would you say it costs each year to raise a kid?
