Pope Demands Help For Vulnerable
Chastises world leaders for destroying environment
Pope Francis has urged the world to protect the vulnerable. In a speech to the United Nations he demanded the world’s poor get immediate access to adequate food, water and housing saying they have the right to lodging, labour and land. He also chastised world leaders for destroying the environment through what he called a “selfish and boundless thirst for power and material prosperity.”
