The Province Just Released Its Plan For Back-To-School!
Parents are getting a better understanding of what the new school year will look like in September.
It appears that a more normal year is planned for Ontario students with team sports, the use of instruments, and field trips all being permitted this year.
There will still be safety restrictions like the use of masks indoors for kids in grades 1 and up.
Kids will be allowed into school libraries and cafeterias again with safety protocols in place.
Students are expected to attend school in person for full days, five days a week, unless they opted to learn remotely.
Kids will be able to play with kids in other classes while outdoors and also be allowed to share toys.
More details will be released in the coming days about an outbreak and how the school will deal with it.
Students will be #BackToClass full-time for more normal, in-person learning.
Approved by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, the plan:
☑️keeps schools safe
☑️supports mental & physical health
☑️restores clubs, phys-ed & sports
☑️reduces learning gaps
