Whitney Houston's legacy just got a little more glamorous.

Mattel has officially unveiled the Whitney Houston Barbie Signature Doll, inspired by the singer's iconic look from the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" music video. And honestly, if you grew up in the '80s or '90s, your inner child is already adding it to the shopping cart.

The collectible doll recreates Whitney's unforgettable style from the 1987 video, complete with her purple dress, sparkling heels, colourful earrings and that legendary big hair that practically deserves its own spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Barbie also comes with a microphone and stand, because let's face it, handing Whitney Houston a Barbie-sized tambourine would have been wildly disrespectful.

The doll, which sells for around $60, was officially unveiled at the Legacy of Love Gala in Atlanta, an annual event hosted by the Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation.

For longtime fans, it's more than just a toy. It's a tribute to one of the greatest voices in music history.

Whitney exploded onto the music scene in the mid-1980s, and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" quickly became one of her signature hits, dominating radio stations, dance floors and karaoke nights for decades.
