The Real Reason That Matt Damon Was Cut From Ocean’s 8
It appears that he wasn't the only celeb cut from the movie!
Matt Damon and a few other big-name celebrities were all asked to film cameos for the all-female Ocean’s 8.
Director Gary Ross is speaking up letting people know that Damon was cut for editing and storytelling purposes and NOT, and not cut because of controversial remarks he made about the #MeToo movement last December.
After he attempted to argue that inappropriate behaviour should be addressed according to its level of severity, nearly 30,000 people signed a petition to have Damon’s role removed from the film.
