Sprite Will No Longer Come In Green Bottles
It's time for a change!
Spite is ditching its iconic ‘green packaging’ after more than 60 years and will now be sold in transparent bottles.
Coca-Cola announced that it is changing the bottles from green to clear plastic as of August 1st in an effort to become more environmentally friendly.
Its current plastic contains green polyethylene terephthalate (PET) which is an additive that can’t be recycled into new bottles.
