A former 1980s child actor who now lives in the Sunshine Coast town of Gibsons has been accused of committing a bank robbery in Sechelt. Deleriyes Joe August Fisher Cramer, 42, is charged with robbery, disguising his face with the intent to commit an offence, flight from a peace officer and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. He is in custody and his next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday in provincial court in North Vancouver. Cramer, who went by the name Joey Cramer when he was acting, is best known for his roles in Flight of the Navigator in 1986, Runaway in 1984 and Stone Fox in 1987, according to the Internet Movie Database.

Prince’s representatives arranged for the musician to meet a California doctor to help him kick an addiction to painkillers shortly before his death, according to a newspaper report published Wednesday. Prince’s representatives called Dr. Howard Kornfeld on April 20, the day before the musician died, to seek emergency help… The Doctor couldn’t immediately meet Prince, so he sent his son Andrew on a flight from San Francisco that night to discuss treatment in a meeting planned for the next day. According to reports, it was Andrew Kornfeld — who works in his father’s practice — who called 911 when Prince’s unresponsive body was found in an elevator at Paisley Park, Prince’s suburban Minneapolis compound.
