One-third of Adults Say Sex is Over Too Quickly, New Study Reveals
A new relationship study has found that a significant portion of adults feel like their intimate moments end too soon. One-third of those surveyed are looking for more time in the bedroom, with men almost twice as likely as women to express dissatisfaction.
The survey, conducted by a sex app called Beducation, gathered insights from 2,300 sexually active adults worldwide. The goal? To find out how long people want their sexual encounters to last. The ideal time, according to the data, is between 30 and 60 minutes, but many participants admitted they weren’t hitting that target.
So, why aren't people reaching their desired playtime? According to the study, there are several factors at play. Erectile dysfunction, mismatched desires between partners, and jam-packed schedules all contribute to the shorter-than-desired sessions.
"This finding suggests that we need to slow down during sex — especially for those in long-term relationships," the study authors noted.

Despite the yearning for longer intimate moments, less than half of the participants described their sex lives as “mostly” or “very” satisfying, with an average rating of 3 out of 5. Interestingly, women over 40 appeared to be the most sexually satisfied group.
For those feeling like their intimate moments are over too fast, it might be time to reconsider what’s happening between the sheets and focus on slowing down.
