Bryan Adams’ Australia Show Canceled—Because of a Fatberg?! 🤢

Concert cancellations happen for all kinds of reasons—bad weather, artist illness, technical issues… but this might be the grossest reason yet.
Bryan Adams had to pull the plug on his Perth show over the weekend, and the culprit? A fatberg.
If you’re wondering what on Earth a fatberg is, here’s the unfortunate truth: it’s a giant sewer clog made up of things like flushable wipes (spoiler: they’re not actually flushable), cooking grease, paper towels, and other questionable bathroom and kitchen waste. Basically, it’s an iceberg of gunk that blocks up pipes and causes all kinds of problems—like shutting down a concert venue.

The RAC Arena Blocked by a Blockage
Adams was supposed to perform at RAC Arena on Feb. 9, but a major fatberg issue on Wellington Street made it unsafe for fans to enter the venue. Apparently, the situation was so bad that it affected the city’s entire sewer system. Yikes.
So far, Adams hasn’t commented on the unexpected cancellation, but one thing’s for sure: this might be the nastiest reason ever for a concert to be postponed.
Moral of the story? Think before you flush. 🚽😬
