Orange on Pizza? Now That’s Just Bananas!

Published March 10, 2025

Alright, fellow pineapple-on-pizza lovers, we’ve fought the good fight for years, standing firm against the haters who claim fruit has no place on a slice. But just when we thought we were making progress, Australia’s Bubba Pizza comes along and says, “Hold my dough”—because they’ve just debuted a ham and orange pizza.

Yes, you read that right. ORANGE. On pizza.

Now, as a devoted pineapple supporter, I live for that sweet and salty combo. The haters call it an abomination, but we call it balance. But even I have to admit… orange? That’s a bold move.

Bubba Pizza is out here trying to “break the pineapple divide” by tossing citrus wedges on top of melted cheese, and social media has understandably lost its collective mind.

Some reactions were priceless: “Send this to the Italians,” one person said. “Straight to jail,” declared another. Others were a bit more open-minded, with one brave soul admitting, “I have to admit, I’m intrigued.”

Look, I get it. Ham and orange is a classic pairing—think orange-glazed ham at Christmas dinner. But on pizza? I just don’t know if I’m ready for that emotional rollercoaster.

The real question is, will this unite pineapple lovers and haters in mutual disgust? Or will orange pizza somehow be the thing that finally bridges the divide?

Either way, I salute Bubba Pizza for their commitment to chaos.

And while I might not be rushing to try it, I fully support anyone willing to take that citrusy leap of faith.

Just don’t come for my pineapple, okay?
