Suzanne Somers' AI 'Twin' Brings Her Back to Life—At Husband’s Request

Nearly two years after Suzanne Somers' passing, her husband, Alan Hamel, has brought her back in a way that only modern technology could allow—through an AI replica.
During a public demonstration, the artificial intelligence version of the late Three’s Company star was seen interacting with Hamel, 88. In an emotional exchange, the AI version of Somers told him, "Meeting you was like a breath of fresh air."
A Longtime Wish Come True?
According to Hamel, this wasn’t just a random tech experiment—he claims Somers herself had the idea decades ago. “About 35 or 40 years ago, she told me, ‘I would feel good about having a Suzanne Somers AI twin representing me.’”
Hamel then worked with AI company Hollo to bring this vision to life. The AI Suzanne was designed using footage, voice recordings, and personal details from Somers’s more than 50-year career and 46-year marriage to Hamel.

A Digital Resurrection for 'Three’s Company'?
But Hamel isn’t stopping there. He’s pitching the AI Somers to the distributor of Three’s Company to create new episodes of the beloved sitcom. He even wants to bring back John Ritter using AI, proposing a digital reunion of the show’s classic cast.
“One of these days, the world will see Suzanne Somers again,” Hamel said.
Somers’ Legacy Lives On
Somers was first diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2000, and after battling the disease for years, she passed away on October 15, 2023, just one day before her 77th birthday.
While fans continue to mourn her loss, her AI twin might keep her memory alive in a way never seen before.
