THERE'S NOW A SHIRT YOU CAN WEAR FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH WITHOUT WASHING IT

Laundry day may soon become a thing of the past. Or at least that's what one clothing company is hoping.

A company called HercLeon has unveiled a new shirt that it claims can be worn every single day for more than a month without smelling. That's right: thirty days, zero washes and, apparently, zero regrets.

The secret? The company says the fabric is infused with copper, silver, zinc, gold, volcanic ash and two mystery ingredients they're keeping under wraps. Which means this shirt contains more precious metals than your grandmother's jewellery box.

According to HercLeon, the materials are woven directly into the fabric to fight odours, even during the sweaty summer months.

Naturally, the internet has questions. Thirty days? That's not a shirt anymore. That's a roommate.

The premium version starts at $79, although the regular price will eventually climb to $149. There are also cheaper options: one that's supposedly good for three days and another that lasts two weeks before needing a trip to the washing machine.

The shirts come in navy blue, burgundy and dark green, which just happen to be excellent colours for hiding coffee stains and poor life choices.

More than 1,700 people have already backed the idea on Kickstarter, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars. Because apparently there are a lot of people out there who looked at their overflowing laundry basket and thought, "What if I simply stopped washing my clothes altogether?"

Of course, everyone's definition of "odor-free" is different. The company says the shirt stays fresh for a month. Your spouse, co-workers and the person trapped beside you on the GO Train may have a different opinion.

Either way, this could be revolutionary for camping trips, busy parents and university students who already think Febreze counts as doing laundry. 🎙️🇨🇦
