Bennifer is No More... Again.

On January 6, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge officially approved the divorce settlement between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, marking the end of their two-year marriage. The settlement, which went into effect on February 21, was the result of mediation in September 2024, preventing a drawn-out, public court battle.
Unlike other high-profile celebrity divorces, the couple managed to keep most financial details private, but it was made clear that neither star would be paying spousal support. They also do not have children together, so custody wasn’t a point of contention.
JLo, now reverting back to her maiden name, will no longer legally carry the Affleck surname.
Their whirlwind romance captivated the public when they first became a couple in the early 2000s. After meeting, falling in love, and getting engaged, they starred together in the infamous 2004 films Gigli and Jersey Girl, which were panned by critics. By the end of that year, they had split, with the intense media pressure playing a major role in their decision.
Fast forward two decades, and the pair rekindled their relationship, stunning fans worldwide when they married in July 2022. Yet, after just over a year of marriage, Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, stating they had separated more than a year earlier. This marks Lopez’s fourth divorce and Affleck’s second. Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
