Beyoncé Wins Album of the Year for ‘Cowboy Carter’ at the 2025 Grammys

It finally happened—Beyoncé has won Album of the Year at the Grammys! 🎶✨ Her latest project, Cowboy Carter, won the night’s top prize, marking her first win in this category.

Despite being the most awarded and nominated artist in Grammy history, Beyoncé had been snubbed four times before in this category. With this win, she became the first Black woman to claim Album of the Year in the 21st century—the last being Lauryn Hill with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill in 1999.
