Costco Just Dropped a 5-Foot Advent Calendar — And Yes, It’s Full of Chocolate 🍫🎄

Costco is proving, yet again, that size really does matter. The warehouse giant has unveiled a five-foot-tall Lindt Advent calendar that’s less “holiday tradition” and more “life-sized chocolate roommate.”
Instead of the usual mini chocolates you pop open each December morning, this monster calendar hides full-sized Lindt treasures behind each door: Lindor truffles, Excellence bars, and of course, those little golden bears that make you feel fancy even when you’re still in sweatpants.

Spotted first by the @costcohotfinds crew on Instagram, this chocolate tower of joy is already making waves in select Costco warehouses. Rollouts are happening in waves: the Northwest and Southeast U.S. have them now, with the Northeast dropping September 25, and San Diego dropping September 29. (Canadian launch dates haven’t been confirmed yet, but we’re crossing all our candy-cane fingers.)

The Bigger, The Better: Costco’s Giant Obsessions
Honestly, this isn’t even the weirdest “supersized” thing Costco has ever put on its shelves. Here are some of the warehouse’s most eyebrow-raising XXL finds:
- 🧩 The World’s Largest Puzzle: Measuring 8 by 29 feet with 60,000 pieces. It costs around $350 and will take approximately until retirement to finish.
- 🧟 Zombie Apocalypse Prep Kit: Officially known as the “Ultimate Variety Emergency Food Pallet,” this survival buffet offers 5,400 servings and lasts 35 years. Yours for a cool $3,000.
- ⚰️ A Hampton Casket: Yep, you can pick up a coffin right between the seasonal throw blankets and a case of ketchup chips. Prices start at $1,400.
- 🧸 The Infamous 93” Plush Bear: Because nothing says “responsible adult purchase” like a teddy taller than your fridge.
- 🧀 72 Pounds of Parmigiano Reggiano: A wheel of cheese so massive it should come with its own dolly. Price tag? About $1,000.
Would You Buy It?
So, the real question: are you snagging the 5-foot Lindt Advent calendar this year? Or are you saving your Costco cash for the emergency food pallet in case the zombies finally show up? Either way, one thing’s for sure — Santa’s elves could never compete with Costco’s bulk-sized Christmas spirit.
