Emma Stone admitted she “would like to be” addressed by her real name — Emily.
During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the star reveals that Emma is a stage name. Stone explained she originally decided to go by “Emma Stone” because another actress from SAG-AFTRA had already taken the name Emily Stone.
The actress claimed that people she knows and works with call her by her given name.
Before her acting career, there was a time when Stone didn’t mind being called Emma out of her fascination for Spice Girls’ Emma Lee Bunton aka Baby Spice.
