GEORGIA REMINDS PEOPLE: YOU DO NEED TO WEAR CLOTHES FOR DRIVER’S LICENSE PHOTOS

Oh My!

You used to have to go to the DMV or other special places to have your photo taken for driver’s licenses, passports, and other IDs, and they were ALWAYS terrible.  Now, you can sometimes use your photos.

But there are rules.  You should use a white or off-white background without shadows.  Oh, and you CAN’T BE NAKED.  (???)

The Georgia Department of Driver Services has just reminded people to “keep things classy.”  They say, “Please take pictures with your clothes on when submitting them for your Digital Driver’s License and IDs.”

It’s unclear what inspired that reminder, but clearly, there was at least one instance of people not wearing an appropriate amount of clothing.
