Yesterday two little girls cashed in selling lemonade to people cycling and walking along the Rideau Canal in Ottawa around 9 a.m. With plans to use the money for Summer Camp, they made over $50 selling $1 lemonade by the glass in less than two hours.

It was all too good to be true, by 11 a.m. they were told to pack up their refreshing business for failing to have a permit.

Dad was not happy, “I think that they need to relax a bit. I understand that they have to manage their properties but at the same time we’re talking about a five and seven-year-old raising money for camp.”
