Hollywood actors are annoyed with their union after some odd rules when it comes to Halloween.

The SAG-AFTRA union told striking actors not to dress up as popular characters from struck content and then post the images on social media.

An example would be MARVEL characters, Barbie, or Wednesday Addams.

The union sent a message to its members saying, “Let’s use our collective power to send a loud and clear message to our struck employers that we will not promote their content without a fair contract.”

Actors took issue with the rules, saying it was a little extreme. Ryan Reynolds had this hilarious retort.

“I look forward to screaming “scab” at my 8 year old all night. She’s not in the union but she needs to learn.”

Mandy Moore posted to Instagram, “Come on @sagaftra. This is what’s important? We’re asking you to negotiate in good faith on our behalf. So many folks across every aspect of this industry have been sacrificing mightily for months. Get back to the table and get a fair deal so everyone can get back to work.”

The union says there are tons of other options for costumes such as ghosts, witches, pumpkins and cartoon characters
