Jacob Hoggard Now Faces Three Sexual Assault Charges
The jury is currently in deliberation regarding two charges of sexual assault against Hedley frontman and now a third charge has come to light.
The first two charges stem back to 2016 with the woman accusing him of a violent rape.
The third charge didn’t come to light until now to ensure that it wouldn’t taint the jurors in the first cases.
Sexual assault causing bodily harm — is the third complainant, dating back to June 25, 2016, in Kirkland Lake, Ont. His next court date on that charge is in August.
Accusations about sexual misconduct involving the band — and Hoggard in particular — began appearing online in 2018 in the wake of the #MeToo movement under the hashtag #outHedley2k18.
