4 Steps to a Quieter Sneeze
1️⃣ Exhale Before It Happens 🫁
- The more air in your lungs, the louder the sneeze. Try breathing out right before it hits!
2️⃣ Relax Your Vocal Cords 😌
- That loud “ACHOO” comes from your vocal cords vibrating. If you soften them (like sighing deeply), the sound won’t be as intense.
3️⃣ . Keep Your Mouth Closed 🤐
- Push your tongue to the roof of your mouth to send the air through your nose instead.
4️⃣ Sneeze Into Your Elbow 🤧
- Not only does it muffle the sound, but it’s also way more hygienic than sneezing into the open air.
What NOT to Do 🚨
🚫 Never fully hold in a sneeze! It could rupture your eardrums or even tear your throat (yikes!).
So, will you be trying out the silent sneeze challenge? Or are you proud of your earthquake-level “ACHOO”? 🤔
