Netflix Orders Wednesday Addams Live-Action Series From Director Tim Burton

Netflix has ordered an “Addams Family” spin-off series that centres on the iconic Wednesday Addams, reported Variety.
Netflix has given the green light for an eight-episode order for the series entitled “Wednesday,” from director and executive producer Tim Burton.
The Young Adult series will follow Wednesday’s coming of age as a student at Nevermore Academy and is described as a “sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery.” The series also marks Burton’s television directing debut.
While no casting announcements have been revealed, the iconic character has been portrayed multiple times on the small and big screen.
