Over 60% Of People Want To Spend More Time Doing Non-Technology Activities

Everyone needs a break!

A new survey of 2,000 people found 56% of those who spend their entire day glued to a screen try to limit using their devices as much as possible at night.

But as much as we try, we can’t always unplug! Over half of respondents confessed they use their devices more for leisure than for work and seven in 10 get carried away with playing games.

But when we do manage to unplug, it improves our sleep, we feel more relaxed and we even feel more content and free according to this survey.

However, nearly a quarter of people confess that it’s hard to put the screens down with the average person needing about 2 1/2 hours to satisfy their screen time fix before bed.

Almost half of the people say that when they do put the screens away they enjoy reading an actual book. Two in three said that reading is one of their favourite pass times.
