Feeding cows seaweed can help reduce (moo) cow farts…
AND greenhouse gases. Researchers at the University of California mixed small amounts of seaweed in cattle feed and found the stuff dramatically reduced cow burps and farts without affecting meat quality.
More importantly, it cut the amount of methane a cow pumps into the atmosphere by a staggering 82 percent!
