You Won’t Believe What I Lost on the Weekend…

I was camping with my family this past weekend at Balsam Lake Provincial Park. Throwing the football around Saturday with my Dad on a sandbar in the lake when I glanced at my hand and realized my wedding ring was gone.

I knew it wasn’t far but after a few minutes of looking in knee-deep water it was clear this was a needle in a haystack scenario. Now I’m going through my head the explanation I was going to give my wife.

Suddenly my Dad reaches in and pulls it from the sand. He saved the day and possibly a night on the couch for me.
