YouTube Says Russell Brand Will Not Be Making Money On The Platform Admid Sexual Assault Allegations

This is getting worse for Brand...

The platform cited a policy to take action ‘if a creator’s off-platform behaviour harms our users, employees or ecosystem.’

YouTube has suspended comedian and influencer Russell Brand from monetizing content amid allegations of sexual assault that came to light this week.

Citing the serious allegations against Brand, YouTube announced on Tuesday that the comedian is no longer eligible for ad revenue for videos he posts on the platform.

Brand has denied all the allegations, saying in a video statement over the weekend that all of his relationships have been consensual.
