Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro Medonte is hosting another OK Friday Barnfair today. It’s a community driven farmers market which also features an artist showcase, stop by between 3 & 8pm tonight.

In Wasaga Beach its Inflate-A-Fest with a huge collection of inflatables for all ages, over 20 of them all in one place; from an obstacle course to bouncy castles and a massive warrior challenge. It’s open through the day time all weekend at Playland Park Square.

Our Barrie Colts kick off their pre-season schedule with its opening game tonight on the road in Niagara, puck drop at 7pm.

Santa’s Village, Aerial Park & Sportsland are all open all weekend including today in Bracebridge. Santa’s Village is celebrating over 60 years and its open until 6p tonight.

3 More days left at CNE Toronto and this weekend is the Canadian International Air Show.

Tonight on the CNE Bandshell stage Junkhouse is opening for 5440.

It’s raceday on the 2.4km road course at Canadian Tire Motosport Park in Bowmanville with the Nascar Camping World Truck Series, a showcase of Nascar’s young guns making their only appearance on this side of the border. The green flag for the Chevrolet Silverado 250 drops at 2:30pm today.

Game 4 of The Finals goes this afternoon as our Barrie Baycats (seeking their 3rd straight IBL Title) are on the road in Toronto, first pitch goes at 2pm.

Our Barrie Colts are on the road for some pre season exhibition action in Owen Sound, it’s a 2pm puck drop. They will be home for the annual Labor Day Monday exhibition game tomorrow hosting Niagara at 6pm at BMC.
