Prince will perform two back to back shows in Toronto tomorrow!

Prince’s so-called solo Piano and A Microphone trek arrives at the Sony Centre for two shows on March 25 at 7 and 10 p.m. Tickets, $325, $225, $175, $125, for the latest Toronto shows go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. by calling 1-855-872-SONY (7669) or online at sonycentre.ca. Every ticket purchased includes a CD copy of Prince’s new album HITNRUN – Phase II, which will be distributed to ticket holders upon exiting the venue.

An Oxfam bookshop in South Wales has received hundreds of copies of 50 Shades of Grey and are begging the public to stop sending the old books their way. An employee of the store said, via the Dailymail, “We appreciate all the donations – but less Fifty Shades and more sixties and seventies vinyl would be good. There are a lot of people obsessed by Fifty Shades of Grey, we get people bringing in new copies all the time. Enough is enough.” The extra books are going to Goldstone Books, a warehouse that resells and recycles old books. Someone should check to see if the sale of duct tape and handcuffs have increased in South Wales….

The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her world tour. Word came down yesterday saying in part; “Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international Anti World Tour.” The Weeknd was to start the tour on June 11 in Amsterdam, which would’ve kicked off a two-month stint of the pair overseas.
