Tim Horton’s May Soon Be Able To Predict Your Order At The Drive Thru
Double double, please!
Restaurant Brands International, which owns Burger King, Popeyes, and Tim Horton has announced plans to upgrade their drive-thrus at over 10,000 restaurants across the United States and Canada.
The new upgrades will make your experience faster, and in some cases, may even predict what you want.
The system involves installing over 40,000 digital drive-thru screens with “predictive selling” technology that can suggest items based on previous orders, trending promotions, time of day, and local weather.
Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons are getting new drive-thrus in the coronavirus age.
The company that owns the three brands says it’s planning to modernize and speed up the drive-thru experience at over 10,000 restaurants in North America by mid-2022. https://t.co/Q6ibin1yVm

In keeping with COVID safety protocols, the drive-thrus will also offer contactless payment when you place your order. The drive-thrus are expected to be rolled out across North America by the middle of 2022.
