Chappell Roan Cuts Ties With Talent Agency After Epstein-Related Email Fallout

Grammy winner Chappell Roan has parted ways with the talent agency run by entertainment executive Casey Wasserman after newly released documents tied to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation resurfaced decades-old emails.
The messages, released by the U.S. Justice Department as part of a large batch of Epstein-related files, showed Wasserman exchanged flirtatious emails with Ghislaine Maxwell more than 20 years ago. Maxwell was later convicted of sex trafficking and is currently serving a 20-year sentence.
Wasserman, founder and CEO of the Wasserman talent agency and a key figure connected to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics organizing committee, is now facing public pressure to step down from some leadership roles following the release.

He has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing connected to Epstein.
Epstein, who faced federal sex-trafficking charges, died in custody in 2019 while awaiting trial. Maxwell was convicted in 2021.
Roanβs decision signals how quickly reputational fallout can ripple through the entertainment world, even when connections are indirect and decades old. In an era where digital paper trails resurface instantly, associations alone can trigger major professional shifts.
