A company in Japan has unveiled what's basically a refrigerator for people.

It's called the Do Hiemon Box, a personal cooling cabinet that looks like someone crossed a phone booth with a beer fridge.

You climb inside, sit down, close the glass door, and for the next ten minutes you're blasted with chilly air that's about 5°C, aimed at your head, neck, shoulders and back. It's like a hot tub... if the hot tub had an identity crisis.

The company says a quick session can help cool your body down fast and relieve the early symptoms of heat exhaustion.

The only catch? It'll set you back about $9,200.

For that kind of money, I'd expect it to dispense Popsicles, fan me with palm leaves, and tell me my boss called to say I can stay inside for the rest of the summer.
