HEATED RIVALRY FANS ARE GETTING A LITTLE TOO HEATED IN TORONTO 🏒🎬🇨🇦

It turns out the biggest rivalry surrounding Heated Rivalry right now isn't happening on the ice. It's between the production crew and fans trying to track down filming locations across Toronto.

As work on Season 2 ramps up, the team behind the hit Crave series has issued a polite but firm message to fans: if you stumble across the cast and crew filming, please give them some space.

In a statement posted to the show's official Instagram account, producers thanked fans for their enthusiasm and support, while reminding everyone that the cast and crew need room to work their magic.

Translation: please stop treating every downtown Toronto street corner like it's a celebrity safari.

The warning comes as stars Hudson Williams, 25, and Connor Storrie, 26, have been spotted around the city filming scenes for the highly anticipated second season. Since the show's debut last November, the actors have gone from relative unknowns to full-blown heartthrobs almost overnight.

And some fans, affectionately nicknamed "Loons," have taken their devotion to Stanley Cup-playoff levels of intensity.

Heated Rivalry, based on Rachel Reid's bestselling novel, follows the secret, years-long romance between rival professional hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. Season 2 will adapt The Long Game, the sixth book in the Game Changers series, and is expected to arrive in April 2027.

Of course, Toronto residents are used to random film shoots popping up around town. One minute you're grabbing a coffee, and the next you're accidentally wandering into the background of a television series while carrying a bag of groceries and wearing sweatpants.

But if you happen to spot the Heated Rivalry crew filming, remember: admire from a distance, let them do their thing, and maybe resist the urge to yell, "I loved you in that scene!" while they're trying to shoot it.

After all, Season 2 isn't going to film itself. 🎙️🇨🇦
