Her multi-million dollar divorce settlement from estranged husband Johnny Depp is final and Amber says all of it will be going to charities that support battered women. The star ended her nasty three-month legal battle with the actor on Monday, and as part of their official marriage termination agreement, she will receive approximately $7 million from her ex-lover.

During the divorce proceedings Heard alleged she was physically abused by Depp throughout their 15-month marriage, and the 30-year-old has now announced she won’t be pocketing any cash from the settlement, using the money instead to help others in need.

Sting was in Montreal for a show and thought to himself, while I’m here- I might as well get my brain scanned….So Sting met with cognitive psychologist Daniel Levitin, who, alongside colleague Scott Grafton, analyzed fMRI images to study how the musician’s brain analyzes and organizes music. McGill University released a study called “This is your Brain on Music”….The Profs are hoping to also do research with the hope that the same scans can be used to discover how “athletes organize their thoughts about body movements…


A Big Lebowski spin-off movie is coming.

John Turturro is confirming that his new movie ‘Going Places’, which he’ll direct and star in, is the spin-off! It’s currently shooting in New York, though the exact nature of exactly how tied into Lebowski it is hasn’t been confirmed.


Pharrell Williams is set to perform at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Pharrell will thrill select fans with an outdoor concert in support of the film Hidden Figures. The GRAMMY winner produced the soundtrack for the inspiring NASA flick, which stars Octavia Spencer, Taraji P. Henson and Janelle Monae.
Now in its 41st year, the festival runs Sept. 8-18.
