Ben Affleck And Matt Damon Are Back On The Big Screen Together In The New Trailer for Nike “Air”
The Affleck-directed movie focuses on the history of salesman and executive Sonny Vaccaro (Damon) and how he got Michael Jordan to sign with Nike, creating the massive company it is today. Affleck stars as Nike co-founder Phil Knight.
“'AIR' reveals the unbelievable game-changing partnership between a then-rookie Michael Jordan and Nike's fledgling basketball division which revolutionized the world of sports and contemporary culture with the Air Jordan brand," the movie’s official synopsis reads.
The “AIR” cast also features Viola Davis, Jason Bateman, Chris Messina, Chris Tucker, and Marlon Wayans.
Affleck and Damon won a Best Original Screenplay for their “Good Will Hunting” script. The friends most recently appeared onscreen together in Ridley Scott’s 2021 movie “The Last Duel.”
“AIR” arrives in theatres on April 5 and will land on Amazon Prime after its theatrical run.
